Role

We are looking for a Systems or Tools Engineer to assist in game technology development on one of our exciting unannounced projects. You will work under our Principal Tools Engineer, and with production, the game engineers, and tools engineers. You will assist in developing the technical systems which interface between game systems and our narrative database and contribute to other underlying game technologies.


Responsibilities

  • Producing robust and performant game code for our games projects
  • Working closely with stakeholders and producers to inform and stay informed on feature development
  • To work collaboratively and proactively with programmers and other disciplines
  • To support game experiences which are compelling and high quality
  • To share expertise with technical and non-technical team members
  • Maintaining specialisation in Unity and C#
  • Documenting and communicating updates, new technologies and findings
  • Providing technical feedback and solution suggestions to technical issues

Skills & requirements

  • Great communication skills with both technical and non-technical personnel
  • You are professional, considerate, and a supportive team player
  • You understand game project development and its requirements
  • Experience with developing in Unity with at least 3 years working as a programmer in the video games industry.
  • Experience working in C# and object-oriented programming
  • Self motivation and proactive learning
  • Works well in a remote environment
  • Organisational skills to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders


Bonuses
